The emphasis in Family Day Care is on security, warmth, learning and FUN in a home environment. There is no fixed routine but there are plenty of FUN activities for the children including singing, storytelling, music, make-believe, dressing up, playdough and more. Our Carers attend programmed playgroups and also take children on excursions and outings in the local community.
The Upper Hunter Family Day Care scheme has been operating for over 20 years. With the coordination unit based at Scone it services Muswellbrook, Scone, Merriwa and Murrurundi.
Children between the age of six (6) weeks and twelve (12) years are nurtured in a small group setting and through the carer's individualised programming are encouraged to further develop their skills and knowledge.
