Upper Hunter Shire Heritage Guidelines will assist you with understanding why heritage is important and what it is all about. If you own a heritage item and are contemplating repairs, renovations, or other works on the same lot and would like to discuss heritage matters, please contact Council's Environmental & Customer Services Department to make an appointment to see the heritage advisor.
Council's heritage advisor normally visits the townships of Scone, Murrurundi and Merriwa one day a month during the first week of each month.
