These planning tools will help guide you through the
planning and development process. Search to see if your proposal requires
approval, obtain development standards and prepare your application for
lodgement. Our DA Application Tracking will allow you to monitor the progress of
your application from lodgement to final determination.
The Application Tracking tool contains a tracking system representing key milestones in the Development Application process. It is not intended to provide a detailed history, but a summary of the stages that the application has gone through.
The Interactive Buildings tool, developed by the Department of Planning and Environment, helps people understand and interpret development standards for common building works that require no further planning approvals - known as "exempt development".
The Planning Viewer is a map based tool developed by the Department of Planning and Environment which provides a visual way to show the planning rules that apply to properties across NSW.
A BASIX certificate may be required when applying for development approval. It requires home owners and developers to nominate water and energy efficient designs and technology to include in their dwelling.
