Council, in conjunction with sporting groups, organises school holiday sports days, come’n’try days and other recreation opportunities throughout the year, such as Bike Week events and Ride2School Day.

'Sport 4 U' provides an opportunity for people with a disability and living in the Upper Hunter Shire to participate in community sport and recreation.
