'Sport 4 U' provides an opportunity for people with a disability, and living in the Upper Hunter Shire to actively participate in community sport and recreation, regardless of their financial circumstances.
Eligible participants can apply for up to $130 of financial assistance to contribute towards club fees each year. The fees will then be passed on directly to Sport 4 U registered sport clubs through Council.
To be eligible for this funding, applicants must be aged between five to 15 years old, the family must have a Health Care Card or Pension Concession Card, and must reside within the Upper Hunter Shire.
Sports clubs must be based within the Upper Hunter Shire and be not-for-profit, affiliated with their State Sporting Body and have a signed agreement to the Sport 4 U Terms and Conditions.
