What could more greenery, seating, shade and
public art do for the street appeal of Upper Hunter towns?
Town Centre Revitilisation Plans have been developed, in consultation with the community, which aim to create more attractive and vibrant retail destinations with recommendations that include improving landscaping, parking, signage and maps, pedestrian and cycling access, and slowing traffic through kerb blisters and green spaces at the entrances to towns.
The final masterplans were adopted by Council at its meeting on 27 June 2016.
