In an effort to assess community attitudes and perceptions towards Council’s services and facilities, Council contracted Micromex Research Consultants to conduct a community survey. An initial survey was undertaken in 2004, 2009, 2013 then again in and 2015.
A sample population was randomly selected and the survey was conducted by telephone. The survey asked the community to rate services and facilities on their level of importance and on their level of satisfaction. Micromex Consultants conducted a gap analysis of the level of importance and level of satisfaction of the various services and facilities to provide a report which shows where the community perceives that Council is performing well and meeting the priorities of its residents, and also identifies priority areas that require improvement.
