Tour the Upper Hunter in September with a bike ride in safe and scenic surrounds.
There are three FREE events offering fitness and fun for the whole family with refreshments at the end.
Whether you are a lycra-lover or a biking beginner, pedal at your own pace or race your buddies.
There is the excitement of the Muswellbrook
velodrome, or rides in the countryside from Scone to Cressfield Stud and from
McCully’s Gap Hall.
Saturday 17 September – 12.00 noon.
Everyone is welcome to try the velodrome in Muswellbrook. Bring your BMX, road bike, mountain bike and experience the thrill of one of the world’s tightest velodrome tracks, followed by a free barbecue.
Sunday 18th September – 8.30am.
Enjoy a 50km return trip social road ride from the Bill Rose Sports Complex to Cressfield Stud for coffee. This is a fully supported ride.
Saturday 24th September – 2.00pm
Discover Muswellbrook Cycle Club’s road racing track starting at McCullys Gap Hall. Come and meet the club members, and bring the family for a leisurely, fairly flat 10km ride, or take the more challenging 20km ride, both with great scenery.
There is no need to book, just turn up with your bike and helmet and register for free on the day.
