Celebrate a fine Spring afternoon at the Scone Country Markets on Saturday 10 September 2016, at the Scone Visitor Information and Horse Centre (VIC).
There will also be all the fun of a free jumping castle, bubble machine, sausage sizzle, and all the great stalls.
Gardening Club will be there with advice on planting your bulbs.
Rural Fire Service (RFS) will also be at the markets with the Junior
Firefighting Obstacle Course and fire trucks to inspect.
RFS will be sharing tips about being
prepared for fire season as part of the RFS Get Ready Weekend, reminding us all that little things done now can make a big difference
during a bush fire. Simply by trimming overhanging trees and shrubs, keeping
your grass mowed, removing flammable material, clearing up fallen debris and
leaves and preparing hoses to reach around your home you can help prevent
burning embers from destroying your home.
See you there between noon and 4pm, Saturday 10 September, at the Scone VIC on the corner of Susan and Kelly Street near Elizabeth Park.
For more information or to apply for a stall contact the Scone VIC on 6540 1300 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
