Three silo art concepts were accepted by the Merriwa Tourism and Promotion committee on 5 April 2018 who would now like residents of Merriwa to vote for their favourite.

The brief created by the Committee was to create a concept featuring canola, the hut, sheep, magpie and blue sky. The concept that receives the most votes will be painted onto the Macartney Street silos by internationally renowned artist, Sid Tapia.
