February 2025 – Extraordinary Council Meeting Recap Council endorsed the Gummun Place Hostel Advisory Committee, reaffirming its commitment to the future of aged care services in Merriwa. The newly formed committee will advocate for the facility and explore opportunities to ensure its long-term viability. With strong community interest, Council reviewed nominations and appointed members to begin discussions as soon as possible.
