Stewarts Brook Cemetery

Stewarts Brook was an area used for gold mining from around 1881. Many miners ventured to the area, where they continued to mine for another 10 years. The cemetery lies along the flats on the side of Stewarts Brook Road. The land was originally reserved from sale in 1872 but was not proclaimed as the Stewarts Brook Cemetery until 1900.
