Upper Rouchel Cemetery

John McMullin had requested that the land where many of his descendants were buried to be formally identified as the Rouchel Cemetery in early 1870. By mid-1870 this request was approved, however out of pure coincidence John passed away not long after and he became the first buried in the cemetery since being dedicated.

In 1920 the Presbyterian section of the cemetery was extended as the existing area allocated proved to be insufficient for the requirements of this church group.
