Scone Amateur Swimming Club meet for pointscore nights each Wednesday from 5.45pm. We are always welcoming new families to our club. To become a member of Scone Amateur Swimming Club, you need to be able to swim 25 metres in any one stroke.
Our local swim season commences mid October and concludes with club championships in March of the following year. Swimmers are striving and encouraged to better their own personal times each week whilst being awarded points for doing so. Intertown and open carnivals are held throughout the season where we have the opportunity to compete and meet up with other swimming friends.
A local ex-club member swam against a young Ian Thorpe for many years at these carnivals. Scone Amateur Swimming Club is not just a club for the elite swimmer, we encourage and welcome the swimmer who is wanting a night of fun and fitness.
