Independent Living Units

Council provides a total of sixteen, one bedroom Independent Living Units and 1 cottage.   This accommodation provides affordable housing for people aged 55 years and over or for people who have a disability.

Merriwa

Four units are located in Bettington Street and four are located in Vennacher Street.  The units are self-contained with full kitchen facilities.  All units are within a short walk to the CBD.

Murrurundi

Eight units and 1 cottage, known as Liverpool Lodge are located in Liverpool Street.
