Council’s Young Endeavour Scheme gives young people from a rural area the unique experience of an ocean voyage on a tall ship. It challenges and inspires participants, building their confidence, determination and leadership skills. This annual voyage is held over a period of 11 days.
Participants are selected through a nominations process.
Businesses and community groups sponsor the scheme to support this unique experience.
