If your pet has gone missing and all reasonable attempts to locate your pet have been made, phone Council on 6540 1100 and give a description of your animal and its last known location. Council staff will reference this information with any animals that have recently come into our care and Council rangers will be notified to keep an eye out for your pet.
It may also be helpful to post a photo of your pet on community noticeboards and Facebook, or give a description of your lost pet to a local radio station. Contact local veterinary clinics who may also be holding your lost pet.
If your microchipped pet is located by Council staff we will attempt to contact you. It is important that your contact details are kept up to date via the NSW Pet Registry.
Visit the NSW Pet Registry website
Council will post a photo of stray animals on our Facebook page to assist with returning animals to their home as soon as possible.
