*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the NSW Government legislated to extend the statutory requirements for levying the rates by one month which extended the first due date for annual rates and charges from the 31 August 2020 to 30 September 2020. Issuing of the annual rates notices has accordingly been delayed from the 31 July 2020 to mid-August.
Please note, Council is closed on weekends and any payments "in person" must be made before the above dates. Should you not wish to pay by the instalment method, payment in full must be made by 31 August.
Interest is payable on all overdue rates and accounts. Accounts become overdue if not paid by the due date.
Should you feel you are eligible for a pensioner rate rebate and the rebate does not appear on your notice, please bring your rate notice and your current Pensioner Concession Card to Council's Office. Council's staff will assist you to obtain your rebate.
The pensioner rate rebate maximum amounts have not changed since last year and are:-
