Key Planning Documents and Reports

Local Governments in NSW are required to undertake their planning and reporting activities in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2005.  In 2009 the Local Government Act was amended to create an Integrated Planning and Reporting (IP&R) requirement.  As at 30 June 2012 NSW Councils are required to be working within the IP&R Framework.

A greater emphasis is placed on longer term planning, this includes the preparation of a 10-year Community Strategic Plan, a four-year Delivery Program and a 1-year Operational Plan.
